The impact of probiotics on the functioning of the human body

At eubioco, we apply production practices that ensure dietary supplements with probiotics remain stable throughout their shelf life:

  1. Individual approach to product formulation:
    • Minimum effective dose with an appropriate overage to ensure viability until the end of the shelf life
    • Consideration of ingredients that may negatively affect stability (e.g., water activity, antimicrobial effects, moisture, etc.)
    • Appropriate packaging to protect against moisture, oxygen, light, etc.
    • Real-time and accelerated stability testing upon customer request
  2. We store raw materials in accordance with the requirements provided by the probiotic strain manufacturers, including refrigeration if required
  3. Temperature on production lines is constantly monitored and maintained below 25oC, and humidity does not exceed 40% RH
  4. We minimize mixing speed to prevent temperature rise and avoid loss of strain activity
  5. We do not exceed 48 hours between product manufacturing and its packaging in direct packaging
  6. We have an HVAC system – environmental condition monitoring managed systematically (heating, air conditioning, and ventilation of rooms)
  7. Quality control – both raw materials and finished products undergo quality control testing for legally required contaminants
  8. Sample archive – samples of finished products are stored beyond their expiration date – this allows for reanalysis in quality control. We store sufficient product to enable at least two sets of analytical tests (according to specifications). Samples are stored for 1 year after the expiration date or as per customer requirements.
  9. GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified – at eubioco, we apply the same quality standards in probiotic production as in the manufacturing of medicinal products.
